The BNB releases into circulation a silver
commemorative coin ‘175 Years since the Birth of Hristo Botev’
On 3 January 2023 the Bulgarian National Bank will issue a silver commemorative coin entitled ‘175 Years since the Birth of Hristo Botev’ of the ‘Bulgarian Revival’ series.
Upon release the price of the coin will be BGN 114 (one hundred and fourteen levs).
The coin will be sold at two cash desks in the Bulgarian National Bank, Sofia, 1, Knyaz Alexander I Sq., and at four cash desks in the BNB Cash Centre, Sofia, 10, Mihail Tenev St., and also in offices and branches of DSK Bank AD, KBC Bank Bulgaria EAD, First Investment Bank AD, Texim Bank AD and Central Cooperative Bank AD.
Each customer (a natural or legal person) will be able to purchase only 1 coin at the cash desks of the Bulgarian National Bank, no matter whether for themselves or for someone else, presenting a notarised power of attorney explicitly for the purchase of the specific commemorative coin. The persons who may purchase commemorative coins are adults, i.e. must be at least 18 years old.
The list of bank offices and branches in which the new commemorative coin ‘175 Years since the Birth of Hristo Botev’, issue 2023, will be sold. (link).
The new coin will be made available to the banks for sale until the close of business on 3 January 2023.
