Brief Information about the Key Speakers
Ms. Delphine Irac is Deputy Head of the Macro-analysis and Forecasting Division at Banque de France. She received a PhD in Economics from Columbia University, New York, in 1996. Ms Delphine Irac has worked for the International Monetary Fund and for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). She has publications in the field of Economics and Econometrics.
Mr. Alberto Locarno is Deputy Head of the Modelling and Forecast Division at Banca d’Italia. He received a M.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics in 1992. Mr Locarno has also worked for Istituto Mobiliare Italiano in Rome.
Mr. David-Jan Jansen is a Researcher at the Economic and Research Division at De Nederlandsche Bank. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in 2006. Mr Jansen is a member of the European Economic Association. He has publications in the field of monetary policy.
Ms. Emilia Penkova is a Senior Expert at Economic Research and Forecasting Directorate, Bulgarian National Bank. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Birmingham, UK in 2003. She has also worked at the Department of Economics, University of Dortmund and at the Department of Economics, University of Birmingham. She has publications in the field of macroeconomic analysis.
